Who Is This Course For?

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training course is designed for current yoga teacher, pilates and dance instructors, personal trainers and passionate yoga students.

Our only requirement is that you a have minimum of 6 months experience as a yoga student (any style).

If you are already a yoga teacher, the aerial yoga teaching skills will come more quickly. However the technical aspects of teaching, sequencing and designing aerial classes will be new to everyone.

What Is The Content Of Our Training Course?

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course will provide you with a solid foundation and essential skills you require to develop effective, engaging and safe classes. It will also prepare you to teach both basic and more advanced aerial yoga repertoire. The course modules will prepare you to:

  • each both group and private classes

  • Design aerial yoga sequences tailored to specific needs of your students

  • Understand fundamental anatomy of inversions

  • Use biomechanical principles of aerial asanas applied to: breathing, transitions, static poses

  • Clearly and safely instruct aerial poses

  • Break down each exercise for your students

  • Assist your students in going in and out of the poses

  • Modify poses

  • Create a variety of sequencing options to keep clients motivated

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, using verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation.

Who can enroll in our aerial yoga teacher training course?

We require our participants to:

  • Be over 18 years old

  • Have practiced yoga for at least 6 months (any style)

  • Have no contraindications to practise aerial yoga (listed below)

Aerial yoga is not advised if you have any of the listed conditions:

  • Vertigo

  • Inner Ear Conditions

  • Recent Surgery

  • Glaucoma

  • Recent Concussion or Head Injury

  • Epilepsy

  • Recent Stroke

  • Pregnancy

  • Propensity for Fainting

  • Hiatal Hernia

  • Recent wounds

What is required to obtain a final certification?

In order to receive a 40hr Yoga Alliance certification from us you will have to:

– Pass a theoretical and practical exam

– Attend all of the course tuition time

– Perform daily tasks given to you during the course

– Return a completed self-practice log before the start of the course (sent to you after registration)

What is our cancellation policy?

We reserve the right to cancel the course if we do not receive sufficient enrolments.  

The deposit is non-refundable. In case you can’t come to the course of your choice and you give us 4 weeks notice before the commencement of the training, you will be able to transfer your deposit to another course. If you cancel your attendance under 4 weeks before the course commences, your deposit will be withheld. Our refund policy is strict as we only have 9 places on our course.
